Court of Protection - Birmingham
My client is a leading multi-service law firm with a well respected Private Client and Court of Protection team. They are seeking to grow further and looking for a paralegal level fee earner to assist on Court of Protection and Attorneyship matters.
Role:
You will deal day to day to with most matters relating to the Attorneyship so this is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking to develop their experience in this challenging but rewarding area of law. Your duties will include may of the following: telephone and personal contact with clients and relatives, handling post relating to finances, care home fees, utility bills and personal allowance payments for the clients, banking on behalf of the client, Court of Protection applications and Trust administration, though there are many other responsibilities that you will take on.
You will need a varied skill set for this role, including an empathetic manner, in addition to some previous experience in this field, and a broad understanding of personal finances and the general day to day matters encountered in running a house.
