Lawyer - Data Protection

Exciting opportunity to work in London as a Lawyer in the Data Protection team of a market-leading payments company with a track record of dominance in all sectors that they operate in.

This business is leading the way from their London HQ in recent technological developments to their business operation, and they remain integral to the banking system's ability to keep up with the increasing pace of the financial services sector.

The successful candidate will have an excellent private background with a Data Protection focus, or a in-house experience with a mix of commercial and Data Protection responsibilities. You will work closely with the Senior Data Protection element of the team, as well as working with the commercial legal team.

Responsibilities of the Lawyer - Data Protection:

• Review, draft and negotiate terms from a Data Protection perspective
• Maintain internal standards for Data Protection compliance
• Contribute to the training and supervision of other legal staff and commercial internal clients on Data protection guidance
• Liaise with regulators and external counsel on Data Protection regulatory matters

The client believes that this role is best suited to candidates with 2-3 years PQE, however applications of other levels will also be considered.
