Solicitor or legal executive with travel claims experience?

A vacancy has now arisen for an experienced solicitor or legal executive to join the personal injury team in the Manchester office and take on an interesting caseload of fast-track matters in respect of travel claims.
THE ROLE
This role will suit a solicitor with a solid background in personal injury work, or the firm will consider a similarly-experienced legal executive. You must have good IT skills and be familiar with using case management systems and have a good working knowledge of the relevant travel and holiday illness legislation including the Package Holidays Regulations 1992 and the Athens Convention 1974. THE CANDIDATE
You will:-
Be a solicitor with at least 2 years’ PQE experience in a well-regarded firm dealing with personal injury matters, or a similarly-experienced legal executive;
Have experience in claims relating to illness or injury sustained while on holiday or as a result of travel;
Have excellent advocacy skills;
Enjoy networking and be prepared to engage in business development and marketing matters as required;
Be flexible in your approach, understanding that clients may require assistance outside of normal working hours;
Have excellent communication skills, able to engage with clients from a variety of different cultures and from different walks of life and be able to explain complex matters in clear, accessible language;
Fluency in a second language is not essential, but would be an advantage.
