FAMILY SOLICITOR

Accredited practice requires a Family Solicitor.

Our client is a well-regarded legal practice based in West Yorkshire. The established firm have practitioners accredited for their advice in a range of legal areas. The practice takes pride in their high quality service and have been awarded the Lexcel accreditation. They are looking for a Childcare Solicitor to join their family law team.

The Role

The position is a full-time permanent Family solicitor. This position is a childcare role dealing with a caseload of publicly funded work from initial instruction to completion. The role will include a range of childcare matters including care, supervision, protection, special guardianship and adoption orders. The Family Solicitor position will also be representing clients at court.

The Candidate

You must be a qualified Family Solicitor;
You must have at least 3+ years PQE;
You will have solid experience in Child Care;
You must be able to conduct your own advocacy;
You must have excellent communication and client care skills;
The ideal candidate will also have Child Panel accreditation and experience of acting on behalf of the guardian;
You will have strong IT skills;
It would be advantageous to have experience using case management systems.
