Locum/Contract Employment Solicitor - Plymouth - Devon - South West
This reputed and established law firm require a locum employment solicitor for their Plymouth office.
This client is a leading trade union firm with established clients across the UK and beyond. They now have an urgent need for an additional locum solicitor in Devon.
This busy department advise union members (and some non union members) on all matters relating to settlement agreements. They give employment advice over the phone and face to face and you should ideally have a driving licence in order to facilitate regular client visits.
You will advise clients (including senior union officials) specifically on settlement agreements (including sign off where appropriate), but also advise on more general employment matters from time to time, produce tailored legal advise documents for each client and make appropriate referrals within the firm to other departments (i.e family or immigration departments).
You will be a newly qualified, or junior solicitor with relevant employment and settlement agreement experience.
This position is to cover a period of maternity leave, and will be offered on an ongoing locum contract, for a period of at least one year.
