Clinical Negligence Paralegal Urgently Required for Dynamic Role to £25K

Prestigious and niche law firm are urgently looking for an ambitious and intelligent Paralegal with excellent academics (2.1 degree or above) to work in a highly desired role - directly supporting a senior and eminent fee earner in healthcare within their busy CLINICAL NEGLIGENCE department.

The candidate needs to be highly organised but with at least TWO YEARS' experience in Clinical Negligence in a known City law firm. An LPC or BVC graduate is ideal but not essential so long as you have the relevant work experience. The candidates will have experience and an understanding of preparing bundles for hearings as well as experience of taking and preparing witness statements. Strong IT skills (including intermediate to advanced Word and Excel skills) are a must.

Main duties will include the following:-

Preparing detailed attendance notes for all tasks undertaken Researching points of law and other factual issues, through the use of legal databases, textbooks and other appropriate sources. Gathering researched information into bundles for the fee-earners to review and preparing chronologies of medical records Case administration and document management Drafting letters and emails Requesting and organising medical records Analysing, collating and summarising large quantities of information including reviewing evidence for cases Taking detailed notes at departmental meetings or new client meetings.
