Defendant Litigation Assistant

An excellent opportunity has arisen for experienced Liability Litigation Assistants to join a top tier law firm in Chelmsford, Essex.

The insurance department is growing rapidly and therefore this international firm is seeking top tier Legal Assistants to fee-earn alongside their Solicitors.

This role would particularly suit a law graduate from an insurance firm’s claims team who is looking for their first position in a large law firm. Small-track and/or fast-track claims experience is a must, as well as the ability to run your own caseload with some supervision.

The successful Litigation Assistant will have at least 12 months’ defendant or claimant litigation experience, preferably within personal injury.

The firm really values their Legal Assistants and the team is headed up by a well-known Partner who works across employers’, motor and public liability claims. This Partner has also developed expertise across catastrophic, brain and psychiatric injury on behalf of insurers, self-insured and policyholders.
