THE ROLE
Within a department which provides advice on the complete range of competition law issues and continues to attract a flow of merger, cartel, litigation and investigations work.
The Competition Litigation team has extensive experience of all types of competition litigation in the UK, EU and beyond.
Members of the global team have acted on most of the high-profile competition damages matters arising over the last 10 years. Uniquely, their experience covers both claimant and defendant work.
ABOUT YOU
An excellent Managing Associate at 5PQE+ is now sought to join this market-leading team.
Specifically, they are seeking an associate with hands on exposure to follow-on damages claims in relation to cartel cases and/ or abuse of dominance cases before the English Courts, including the CAT.
The successful candidate will often be the lead associate on a variety of high-end work within the competition litigation space, working closely with partners.
The candidate will be knowledgable in the most up to date European and English competition case law and information, and will assist in sharing this with the wider team through their contribution to departmental know-how.
The applicant should have the enthusiasm and ability to grow the practice together with the partners amongst others, with a view to partnership.
The preference is for a full time employee but the team would also consider a flexible arrangement assuming a minimum of 4 working days per week.
