A national law firm in Birmingham seeks a Paralegal to join the Corporate & Commercial team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
Duties and responsibilities
- Managing client files under supervision, including those for key clients
- Assisting Legal Advisors with commercial law matters
- Participating in secondment opportunities with major clients throughout the UK
- Communicating with clients and third party solicitors to advise and handle initial queries
- Helping to ensure invoicing and debtor deadlines are met
- Other ad hoc tasks where appropriate
Requirements
- Degree and ILEX or LPC qualified
- 6-12 months' Paralegal experience in a relevant discipline
- Excellent client-facing skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
