12m FTC Funds Solicitor

An elite asset management firm is looking for a 6+ PQE (approx) solicitor to cover a maternity leave, for a 12 month contract. The legal department the appointee will join is a close-knit team, who provide a range of high-quality work to the business.

The main responsibilities will be:

• Reviewing fund constitutional documents.
• Drafting and reviewing investment management agreements/ platform agreements/ general commercial agreements
• Advising on regulations and the impact new developments will create
• Reviewing documents that relate to potential private bond placements

The ideal candidate should have experience with the open ended retail investment funds sector and so have knowledge on the FCA regime. Additionally, my client is looking for someone personable, who will be able to effectively work with both the legal department and external lawyers when a complex case arises.
