Human Resources Co-ordinator

Salary is £25 to £30k
Role
The role is to provide direct support to the Finance Director and Partners to enable optimum efficiency. This will include, but will not be limited to the main responsibility given below. A high degree of self-management and initiative is expected.
Main Responsibilities
Dealing with the Health & Safety issues that will arise in the branch offices
to include:
- Setting up First Aid training
- Carrying out dummy fire drills
- Assigning new fire wardens
- Keeping offices updated with the fire extinguishers
Hiring staff for all branches to include:
- Advertising
- Holding the first interviews
- Setting up the second interviews with the Managers
- Sending out contract of employment and other documentation
- Working with other Managers to plan future staff needs
- Keeping all employee records
- Providing staff training and development
Dealing with the payroll to include:
- Updating the SAGE payroll system and producing the payslips
- Making sure the staff have the right pay and benefits
- Sending the correct documentation to HMCE
- Dealing with the pension requirements for the firm
- Making sure the pension payments are made to our supplier
- Making sure that you meet all the other payroll demands
- Dealing with the P11ds for all staff members
- Making the necessary tax payment to HMCE
- Advising on matters like pay negotiations
- Dealing with Redundancies and employment law
- Dealing with all staff sickness and holiday information
- Arranging staff services such as counselling and welfare
- Dealing with any complaints that arise and discipline procedures
- Promoting Equality
- Developing HR Policies and procedures
- Dealing with the staff handbook
To do all such things which are in the reasonable opinion of the firm, ancillary, necessary and conducive to the role and responsibilities.
