Construction Lawyer sought for new role with commercial law firm in Leeds.
THE FIRM
This private practice have an international spread of offices, and have won many awards across their departments. They are a full service firm providing claims, transactional, commercial, risk and advisory legal services. Their Construction team is part of the wider Real Estate practice group which comprises over 200 lawyers. They enjoy an enviable reputation in the market as an employer of choice and are renowned as being a good firm to work for.
THE ROLE
Due to expansion there is a need to appoint an experienced Construction Solicitor to the team in Leeds. You will be joining a well-established team which supports their clients in every aspect of property development from planning through procurement, project funding and disposals. They are in growth mode at present so need to add capable and proven lawyers to team.
THE PERSON
You will have a minimum of 2PQE in Construction Law, with your training and experience gained at a city, national or recognised regional practice. Strong academic attainment and a real passion for Construction Law are essential. They require someone who is experienced in the main forms of construction contracts, professional appointments, warranties and bespoke development agreements.
Ideally you will have experience in residential and mixed use development projects as well as commercial developments.
