An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Administration Assistant / Paralegal to join a Manchester City Centre based law firm assisting a team of fee earners within the financial services team. The successful candidate will have good administration skills and experience of working within a law firm either a legal administration or paralegal level.

- Supporting with all aspects of a focused debt recovery process
- To record all customer contact accurately on the collections system and update client systems where appropriate.
- Answer client queries and provide status updates/advice in a professional and efficient manner whether this is via email communication or verbally via the telephone.
- Provide assistance to other colleagues and departments as and when required.
- Ensure all work undertaken is in line with internal and client service level agreements.
- Treat all customers fairly, professionally and act within legislation, compliance and codes of practice.
- To action and take ownership of work presented to you.
- Monitor and update accounts with accuracy.
- To ensure that the companies defined processes are followed.
- Ability to work well in different areas of the Administration & Correspondence department.
- To maintain accurate and current customer records.
- To make legible notes on account screen that corresponds with customer conversation, where necessary.
- To maintain department standards on a day to day basis on number of accounts worked, and deadlines adhered to.
- Flexible approach to work/ enjoys doing different tasks.
- To act within legislation and codes of practice.
- To action all post received daily on accounts.
