2 x Real Estate lawyers NQ – 2 & 2 – 6 years’ PQE SUSSEX

Commercial law firm in Sussex is looking to recruit two Commercial Property/ Real Estate lawyers (one of 0 -1 years’ PQE and the other of 2 to 6 years’ PQE). For the junior role (0 – 1 years’ PQE)

You will have an you with an unrivalled opportunity to gain experience and develop your skills within the Real Estate sector. You will also help to develop new and existing client relationships so you must be able to demonstrate good inter-personal, business development and marketing skills. This is a varied role and the successful candidate will have exposure to a wide range of work, including:

 • Landlord and tenant (commercial leases acting for both landlord and tenant) • Buying and selling commercial property • Development land acting for developers and landowners on sales, options, promotion agreements etc • Property Investment – estate management for property companies including buying and selling, refinancing, dealing with investments • Rural estates – estate management, tenancies, infrastructure and services.

For the mid to senior level role, matters will include:

• Commercial development (mostly retail and business parks but some refurbishment) acting for developer property companies and tenants • Housebuilder work – primarily land work – acquiring development land • Promoters who are promoting land for development • Landowners selling land for development including landowning consortium • Colleges and corporates relocating or undertaking capital projects • Specialist development – student accommodation, leisure, PRS etc.

To be considered for this role, junior applicants must have at least undertaken a seat in Commercial Property law during their training. More qualified applicants must currently specialise in Commercial Property/ Real Estate law.
