This is a great opportunity for an experienced Regulatory & Derivatives Lawyer to join a global banking institution at Vice President level. The role will include providing legal advice and support to the Wealth, Entrepreneurs and Business Banking parts of the business. They are largely retail facing but offer a broad spectrum of products including unsecured loans, portfolio finance and investment advice.
Key Regulatory & Derivatives Lawyer Responsibilities:
- Implementation of all aspects of regulation and regulatory change including EMIR and MifID II, structural reform and Brexit
- Documentary impacts on the client of contractual documentation including standard form terms and conditions as well as product specific documentation
- Providing support in relation to structured products, derivatives, credit and investment services
- Contribute to the creation of policies and controls
Your Key Skills:
Technical expertise in financial markets and regulation with at least 4 years experience working at a top law firm or in-house (a different level of experience will be considered if you possess the requisite experience, the figure given is only indicative.) You will be able to add value in technical as well as commercial discussions and consistently deliver across a broad range of competing targets.
