Employment Partner/Partner Designate

A traditional regional commercial practice is looking to make a senior strategic hire into its formidable Employment Team with the appointment of an Employment Solicitor at partner level.

The firm is based in the South East of Staffordshire and is easily commutable from Birmingham, Coventry and Derby. The practice comprises very experienced solicitors who have previously worked for top tier practices in Birmingham city centre and who decided to move to a smaller firm with less politics and bureaucracy and which would avoid the often frustrating commute into Birmingham city centre but which would not mean compromising on the quality of work and clients available. As such, this practice really does punch well above its weight and its London office provides a pipeline for City quality work.

The Employment Team, which comprises three partners who act for in excess of 200 organisations that have employee numbers ranging from 10 to 40,000, has an appetite for adding a fourth partner and so is keen to recruit an employment solicitor with a minimum of 5 years' PQE. It is crucial that you have a portable following or a part following. You will be well connected and will have experience of business development, networking and preparing and delivering training seminars. It would also help if you had an active online presence.
