THE FIRM
This has to be one of the most exciting instructions we have received in a long while!  Our client is a leading name in the global marketplace providing insurance services in respect of residential property transactions.  Now in the process of breaking into the UK market, they deliver an outstanding range of services tailor-made for the legal property sector.  They are looking to recruit a dynamic individual with a proven track record in sales at the highest level to develop the brand.  This is a fantastic opportunity to take a new role, make it your own and achieve an extraordinary level of financial and personal success.  The firm offers a good basic salary, with an extremely generous bonus structure in excess of £100k per annum plus additional benefits.  Please note that this role is based in the south east, and the successful candidate will be working from home and expected to use their own vehicle, and will receive a car allowance accordingly.

THE ROLE
You will be promoting a range of insurance services designed for the property market and with specific relevance to problems encountered in the conveyancing process. This is a role designed for an ambitious, sales-oriented professional with a keen interest in marketing and business development and with very strong networking skills, who will enjoy the challenge of creating new business opportunities from scratch.  It is highly desirable that you have some understanding of the particular problems arising in the conveyancing process in relation to establishing title – although training will be provided as necessary - and the ability to draw upon that knowledge to promote creative solutions using our client’s range of insurance products.  When applying for this business development vacancy, please quote reference SS23227.   

THE CANDIDATE

You will:-
Have a demonstrably successful background in liaising with, and selling services to, property professionals, such as law firms and banks;
Have a background in residential property matters;
Be a strong and persuasive negotiator, with excellent presentation skills;
Enjoy working on your own initiative, setting your own goals and managing risk, with a clear understanding of internal auditing and money-laundering compliance;
Have a tenacious, determined approach to achieving new business and a willingness to work outside ‘office hours’ in order to achieve your goals.
