Childcare Solicitor

£30,000 - £40,000
A new opportunity has arisen for a childcare solicitor to join a reputable west midlands firm based in their south Birmingham offices.
Our client deals with all aspects of family law to include privately funded divorce, ancillary relief and private children matters along with publically funded childcare matters. They are seeking to appoint a solicitor with a specific focus on Children Act work and ideally a childrens panel member. You will be the most senior person in the department undertaking childcare work and as such you will also be the Legal Aid franchise representative. If you have previous experience of liasing with the LAA or you are looking to take that next step in your career then this could be perfect for you!
You will work alongside another solicitor who touches upon children act matters but on the whole you will be the main person taking responsibility for this work across two offices. You will need to be confident and have at least three years post qualification experience along with strong advocacy skills.
