Innovative company within the technology sector are looking to hire a Legal Counsel for a period of at least three months, with a strong likelihood of extension. The role is based in Central London.
About the Role
The remit of the Legal Counsel will involve a wide range of both technology-based agreements, and more general commercial contracts. Examples including the following:
- SaaS agreements
- re-seller agreements
- subscription services contracts
- referral agreements
- software licensing agreements
- sponsorship contracts
- tender bids
The Legal Counsel will also be expected to get involved in negotiations with both suppliers and customers, as well as providing commercially-focused legal advice to internal stakeholders in a range of departments.
About You
The client believes that this position would be well-suited to a qualified solicitor with at least six months PQE, although all applications will be considered on merit. You must have previous experience of drafting commercial agreements, although this does not necessarily have to have been within a technology context. As long as you can demonstrate that you are a commercially-minded and bright individual, the hiring manager will be able to train you up on areas that you haven't covered before.
