Mixed Construction - Top 100 Firm

A rare and attractive opportunity has arisen for a talented and ambitious Construction Solicitor to join a Top 100 firm's growing Construction practice.

The firm has always had a strong commitment to the Property Sector and is now backing further growth and development of the Construction practice. Overall, the firm has had a few strong years of investment and growth which have placed it in an excellent position for continued success.

The role has been created, in essence, to support a new partner who has settled in to the firm fairly recently. Whilst this partner's practice is largely contentious, which will be reflected in the new joiners workload, the role will include working on non-contentious matters. The bias will, however, be on contentious construction matters.

The team is looking to hire a Construction Solicitor with at least 5 years' PQE although the successful candidate could well be a senior associate. What is important is that the new joiner has experience of acting for largely all parties in construction matters (i.e. developers, funds, occupiers, contractors, consultants, etc).

The new joiner will be at a point in their career where they have developed good relationships with specialist construction Counsel and will probably have some good client relationships (a modest following is not expected but of course is always welcomed). Good BD skills are required though.
