EU Competition Lawyer - Dublin

Fantastic opportunity for a 1+ PQE Competition / EU Associate to join the Competition / EU Group of Ireland's leading international firm.

The role will involve a mixed workload, to include: representing companies in a full range of competition investigations and enforcement actions and advising on EU and Irish competition law. You will advise on all matters relating to EU, Competition and Regulatory law and oversee merger practice that can seamlessly coordinate filings for the EU and Ireland. You will regularly act for multinationals and provide these key clients with well-coordinated Competition law and compliance programmes to represent them before the regulators and offer advice on negotiating resolutions. In addition, the competition team has considerable experience in advising claimants and defendants in competition based litigation and representing clients appealing regulator decisions to the European and domestic Courts.

The Candidate
Applicants ideally have 1-2 yrs PQE (Max 6yrs) with excellent competition experience from a leading Irish, UK or US Law Firm. Candidates demonstrate an interest in marketing and business development and a desire to help drive the practice forward. Candidates must have excellent academics (minimum 2.1) gained from a leading Irish or International University with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a proactive team.
