The ideal candidate should have a solid interest in Immigration Law and good knowledge of the administrative procedures and substantive law. Additionally, will have exposure to all aspects of Immigration Law and must feel confident and comfortable in working with all areas such as: field drafting grounds of claim, grounds for permission to appeal and mainstream representations of sterling quality.
The candidate will be in charge of his/her own case-load, along with varied administrative task arising from the relevant case-load. .
A Tier 1, Legal 500 ranked niche immigration law firm in London, is seeking a bright and independent individual to oversee their own caseload across all areas of Immigration, Nationality, Asylum and Human Rights law including;
- Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) applications.
- Tier 2 applications.
- Business Immigration and Sponsor Licences (including Judicial Review challenges).
- Family-based Immigration including Entry Clearance applications.
- Judicial Review applications.
- Statutory Appeals both at First-tier Tribunal and Upper Tribunal level.
- Asylum claims from screening to substantive interview.
- Fresh claims.
- Human Rights claims, Overstayers, applications for regularisation.
- Nationality applications (both registration and naturalisation).
For the right person, combined with impeccable time-management skills to juggle an active and vibrant caseload, whilst maintaining good client care and client updates. This is essential as the practise is a busy environment. Future career prospects are good and the chosen individual will be provided with prospect to accredit their career.
Experience: 0-2 PQE preferred. Other equivalent experience will be considered but the ideal candidate must be able undertake all aspects from the outset.
Languages: Fluent (written and oral) command of a second language other than English is preferred but not essential.
