Commercial Lawyer

My client, an international Professional Services firm is looking for a Commercial Lawyer to join their team for a nine month contract.

Role Responsibilities:

• Negotiating high-value complex agreements with affiliated and external clients on a global basis
• Engage and support the legal and procurement teams
• Assess risks associated with client matters and advise the business on ad-hoc queries
• Working with legal and compliance teams on a global basis on cross-jurisdictional legal issues such as data protection
• Providing end-to-end support to the Risk Management team from tender to closing contract negotiations
• Supporting the Partners and Senior Managers in the consulting team on commercial negotiations
• Dealing with queries relating to compliance

Candidates of interest will be:

• Degree educated and qualified lawyer
• UK Qualified lawyers coming from a private practice background, ideally with in-house experience
• Depth of commercial experience, particularly working in-house for a company in a variety of sectors
• Experience negotiating complex commercial agreements, especially cross-jurisdictional and high-value agreements
• Projects experience an asset
• Ability to build strong relationships with members of the business
• Gravitas and ability to work with senior stakeholders including Partners and Senior Counsels
• Experience working across international jurisdictions
