LAW Absolute is seeking an innovative and hardworking Property Lawyer to join the team of a well-regarded local authority based in the southern home counties.

Our client is a well run practice who takes pride in delivering a high standard service and is searching for a conscientious individual to join their team on an exclusive 3 month basis with a strong possibility of extension.

About the position

If you are successful upon applying for the role, Property Lawyers within the practice are expected to undertake the following duties:

• Provide advice and have conduct of legal files relating to commercial property work and some residential matters
• Conduct of a range of transactional work, including leases, purchases, sales and commercial property management work  
• Support corporate projects and advise on property issues as part of the project team
• Advise senior officers within the practice’s local authority clients

The successful candidate will be required to handle a full caseload from the outset with minimal supervision.

Whilst working within this position, you will need to be able to hit the ground running and work effectively within a dynamic  and fast-paced environment.

It is therefore essential that you have relevant experience in this area of law in order to effectively perform your duties within this role.
