Advocate

Advocate required to join a local authority based in Essex for an initial 3 month period.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced advocate to undertake a varied workload of public sector matters.

The successful candidate will conduct advocacy for the civil and criminal litigation teams within the Council, where cases will include prosecutions relating to;

• Trading standards
• Planning breaches
• Education preaches
• Traveller evictions

Our client is keen to hear from confident advocates, who have a real passion for the public sector. Previous local authority experience is not essential for this role, although it would be highly desirable to have worked in a similar capacity previously.

This Council is well located, situated just a stone's throw away from shops and restaurants, and within walking distance from the nearest train station, with great transport links to and from London.
