THE ROLE
A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Solicitor with a minimum of five years’ PQE within a reputable firm in Dorchester/Poole. With solid expertise in corporate transactional work, you will fully participate in the further development of the department and have good communication skills across all levels. The ideal Solicitor will also have good negotiation and marketing skills and the ability to handle a varied caseload working well within a team. Your duties will include: contract drafting; negotiations; joint ventures; franchising arrangement; shareholder agreements and; other corporate financial matters. In addition, you will have working knowledge of case management systems and strong IT skills. This role is suited to a Solicitor with own transport as they will be required to work out of the firms other branches. THE CANDIDATE
You must be a qualified Solicitor with a minimum of five years PQE within a Company Commercial/Corporate department;
You must have solid expertise in a corporate transactional work;
You must have a proven ability to meet and exceed fee earning and billing targets;
Having own transport is desirable;
You will have a flair for business development;
You will be IT literate;
You will have excellent communication skills across all levels.
