About the ISDA Negotiator Role:

Key responsibilities:

• Legal documentation negotiator of ISDA and Derivative Master Agreements and related ancillary documents
• Assisting lawyers in providing internal legal advice to the business on relevant legal issues.
• Follow-up work, both internally and with counterparts to gather comments, information, review and ultimately complete agreements and prepare them for execution.
• Organization of execution of completed agreements and dispatch for counterparts' signature.
• Follow-up work to ensure return of signed documents and completion and closing of files.

You will ideally have worked as a mid to senior -level derivatives lawyer or documentation professional with experience in ISDA negotiation. Furthermore, a knowledge of various legal entities including: funds, insurance companies and pensions is essential along with proven excellent organizational and prioritisation skills.

You must have strong academics and IT systems skills, a strong sense of team spirit and good interpersonal and communications skills. You must also be enthusiastic in the development of your documentation skills as well as being flexible and willing to develop full job ownership.
