Our client, a mid-sized investment bank, is seeking a Derivatives or Structured Finance Lawyer to join their structured derivatives legal team. This role will give you the opportunity to work on a wide breadth of interesting and complex structured derivatives transactions across the EMEA region
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Providing legal advice on all phases of structured derivatives transactions.
- Drafting, review and negotiating legal documentation including templates of confirmations, ISDA master agreements, security docs and platform documentation
- Work alongside the business to provide legal advice on the development of new products
- Advising on current and upcoming regulations (e.g. MiFID II, EMIR etc.) to ensure the business is fully compliant
The successful candidate;
- 2-6 years+ PQE* in Derivatives/Structured Finance Lawyer with experience gained either in private practice or in-house
- Sound understanding of derivatives or structured products transactions
