Our client is without doubt one of the leading firms here in Bristol and this is a new role just announced and a chance to join their SHE team, which stands for Safety, Health and Environment. The role has been set as an NQ+ vacancy so whether you are a newly qualified Solicitor looking to take your career in this direction or you are already qualified and you are already enjoying working across these varied and genuinely interesting and rewarding areas of practice at the moment this could be the next step forward you are looking for. In this role you will get the chance to be involved and work 'hands-on' across a variety of Regulatory work including things like health and safety incident investigations, interviews under caution, prosecutions, environmental breaches, breaches of trading standards, food law, fire safety just by way of some examples.

Ideally you will already have some relevant experience in some of these areas and you will already be based here in Bristol with another firm or you will be actively looking to relocate here for genuine reasons. The firm currently employs over 25 specialist lawyers in their SHE team which is already one of the largest in the UK offering this range of specialist experience and expertise, so they are hard to beat when it comes to your career progression and your own personal profile and reputation as you look to develop as a lawyer in these areas. Day to day the team is busy advising insurers and their corporate clients in relation to investigations and prosecutions by a wide range of regulators including the police, Health and Safety Executive, Environment Agency, Environmental Health and trading standards bodies, and they are currently instructed on a number of corporate manslaughter cases and investigations for example.
