The roles responsibilities include, but are not limited to;

  • Reviewing and assessing any post-completion transactions
  • Analysing title structures and assist with the improvement of the operational property database.
  • Ensure that execution formalities and requirements are all adhered to as well as document management.
  • Assist with the creation and ongoing maintenance of template documents.
  • Advise, when required, on enfranchisement requests and any related issues.
  • Liaise with and instruct solicitors to protect the company when s42 notices are received.
  • Providing advice and support across the company on property-related legal, leasehold and Landlord &Tenant matters.

The ideal candidate for this role will have/be;

  • A qualified Solicitor entitled to practise in England & Wales.
  • At least 2 years' PQE of non-contentious residential and commercial property, enfranchisement, conveyancing and general property transactional work.
  • A wide knowledge of Landlord & Tenant legislation, and legal issues relevant to ground rent and residential long leasehold interests.
  • Experience within or a good knowledge of the residential property sector, and property industry in general.
  • Able to provide effective and commercial advice and communicate effectively and clearly in writing and verbally, including drafting correspondence and documents.
  • Experience of ground rent portfolio acquisitions, developer plot sales, planning and construction matters is also highly desirable.
