We are currently working with a highly ranked national firm to appoint a Personal Injury and Costs Paralegal. An Experienced Personal Injury Paralegal or Legal Assistant with ambitions to be trained to attend Costs hearings as an advocate is desirable.
A minimum of 2 years experience of working in Costs, Defendant or Claimant insurance is essential.
About the Personal Injury and Costs Paralegal role:
In this Warwickshire based Personal Injury and Costs Paralegal role you will handle a PI case load and support the Head of team by attending Costs Management hearings.
You will love advocacy and work with the team to act for clients who have suffered from personal injury. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to handle your own supervised caseload and exhibit an understanding of key legal areas of contract and negligence.
Key responsibilities:
- Attend Costs Management Hearings (Advocacy training provided)
- Handling a busy caseload of PI claims and disputes based in negligence, contract and statutory duties
- Communicating with a range of stakeholders
You will have demonstrable experience of Personal Injury or show a clear passion for Civil Litigation and advocacy in your academic study - recent BPTC graduates welcome to apply.
