Software Solicitor - Surrey

Currently looking for a commercial / technology lawyer (2+ PQE).

Your new role

An invigorating, fast-paced and transactional role - you will be given genuine responsibility as you advise the company from within their Surrey office on a broad spectrum of issues relating to software licensing and technology arrangements. You will draft, advise on and negotiate complex and bespoke software and technology agreements, taking responsibility for contractual negotiations and providing commercially focussed legal advice.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a qualified lawyer with a minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience and an interest to work in commercial and technology aspects of law. You will have experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts and ideally strong private practice or in-house experience in the software/technology/insurance industry. A proactive individual who is happy to take responsibility for their work, you will have the ability to thrive in a busy, varied and hands-on environment. Whilst being flexible, you will also be highly organised and have excellent written and oral communication skills.
