This role will appeal to qualified professionals in either the Legal or Accountancy world looking for a role with a difference away from traditional fee earning,

Our client is looking for a Business Development Manager. You will become part of the commercial team in the Company Formations Division. You will be responsible for developing key account relationships, assisting technically with company administration; and for the growth of the client portfolio and development of existing and new products.

The main purpose of this role

  • Acquire new formation and company management business for the Company Formation division from the London office and cross-pollinate corporate legal and business intelligence service lines.
  • Maintain and develop key relationships to overall Business Development strategies and planning. Provide marketing insights and assist with development of new service lines.
  • Develop a working knowledge of other company offices and service lines- Corporate & Private Client, International Expansion and Alternative Investments and effectively cross sell into these areas.

 

Principal responsibilities and duties

  • Delivery of agreed revenue and client acquisition targets.
  • Development and implementation of a strategic and tactical marketing plan.
  • Conducting client visits and prospects and handling relevant follow up to include execution of administration of portfolio companies.
  • Attend conferences, external seminars and other forums.
  • Identify, propose and develop new product and service initiatives.
  • Global liason with colleagues across the group businesses.
  • Maintain and build a sound knowledge of changing legislation applicable to the Company Formation division,
  • Utilise CRM system and pipeline function for Company Formation services.

Qualifications and background required

  • Professional qualification, preferably in Accounting, Law or Company Formation.
  • Industry relevant knowledge of financial services (company formation/administration preferable but not essential)
  • Professional fluency in English (spoken and written)
  • Excellent organisational skills
