One of the US’ most innovative law firms has a new and exciting opportunity to work in their Marketing and Business Development team as a Marketing Officer/Assistant on an ongoing temporary basis – This firm is happy to look at candidates with varied experience and potentially candidates who would be happy to commit to 3 days a week, it will all come down to personality and the ability to execute the required tasks.  Ideally looking for a conscientious and self-motivated assistant who has the capacity to supporting fee-earners across all practice areas and can offer genuine assistance, ideas and productivity.  Key responsibilities will depend on the experience of the new hire as more duties can be given to someone with more experience however selected tasks will include event organisation, the production of flyers, biographies and newsletters, administration of the marketing database, maintenance of marketing information, press cuttings library, maintaining the website, managing advertising and looking after the departmental diary.  This prestigious firm is looking for a candidate who has a minimum 6 months’ experience in business development/marketing preferably within a law firm although essentially from at least a professional services background, with a proactive attitude, excellent communication and written skills and a desire to build a career in marketing.
