Legal Counsel - Collateral Management

A growing financial services company based in London is seeking a Legal Counsel with a focus on collateral management to join their in-house team until the end of the year.

This role will act as Legal Counsel responsible for supporting the EMEA market's business line and will report directly into the senior managing counsel.

My client is looking for a flexible and adaptable candidate with excellent interpersonal skills and a great team player.

Responsibilities:
*Providing timely advice and assistance with relation to collateral management
*Providing advice on new products and product development
*Negotiating complex documents, to ensure compliance with all polices and standards
*Building relationships with all business managers
*Regulatory issues, including maintaining and understanding of existing regulatory requirements
*Advising EMEA senior management on regulatory trends emerging across EMEA

Requirements:
*Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 3 years PQE*
*Background in institutional/wholesale banking (specifically custody, derivatives and market related disciplines)
*Experience of custody, prime brokerage and collateral management would be highly desirable
*Working knowledge of Markets regulatory frameworks

This is a full time position with the scope for some flexibility. This role is an urgent requirement and so you would need to be available to start within 4 weeks.
