In House Counsel

THE COMPANY:

Our client, one of the world’s largest exchanges is seeking a 2-6 PQE Lawyer with exposure to financial services to join their legal team. My client is interested in Corporate / Commercial Lawyer though they are open to seeing candidates from a wide range of practice areas who are keen to quickly learn and upskill themselves.
 

THE ROLE:

This In House Counsel / Lawyer role will be reporting directly to the Head of Legal and will work alongside the wider team.

The role will involve:

• Provide practical and timely advice, analysis and provide legal support on activities affecting the exchange and its trading activities.

• Draft, negotiating and advising on a variety of commercial documentation, including term of business, commercial leases, management of commercial contracts in relation to the business' trading activities and market infrastructure

• Providing advice on the implementation of new business projects such as the launch of new products etc.

THE CANDIDATE:

• The ideal candidate will have c. 2-6 PQE Lawyer with exposure to financial services ideally from private practice or a financial services organisation.
• Candidates who are very enthusiastic and keen to learn in a role outside of their practice area
