Law Costs Draftsperson

Sue Ross Legal are recruiting for a Law Costs Draftsperson on behalf of our client, a regional firm of Solicitors. This role will be based in their Nottingham office.

You will be based within the Civil department and your duties will include;

- Advising and assisting in all aspects of the recovery of costs
- Negotiating costs
- Drafting civil bills and costs for both private and legal aid
- Assisting with the cost aspects of case planning
- Maintaining and updating client files
- Ensuring compliance with Legal Aid rules

For this role it is essential you have experience gained in a similar position. It would be a distinct advantage if you also have experience of Advocacy at Assessment Hearings, and the preparation of High Cost case plans
