IT / Commercial Lawyer

My client is a rapidly growing Silicon Valley robotics company, with a growing presence in the major European markets and a rapidly diversifying product offering. Their software is industry leading and evolving to meet demand both inside and outside of the United States. The growth has necessitated their first legal hire outside of California, meaning they require an experienced lawyer to support their EU sales teams, help to service their burgeoning operations in EMEA and eventually into parts of APAC. Strategically it makes most sense for this hire to sit somewhere in the Netherlands, also servicing the UK, Switzerland, Germany and a few other countries where the product is gaining great traction. They are looking to make a permanent hire in the long run, after an initial 6-12 month contract.

Must have:

        Experience with EU data protection/privacy regimes

         At least 5 years enterprise level SaaS/software licensing experience

         Experience supporting EU sales team

         Some exposure to data protection or open source would be great!

         Bilingual in English and another European language
