Commercial IP / IT Professional Support Lawyer

Professional Support Lawyer in commercial IP and Technology sought for global law firm based in the Manchester office.

This role will suit an experienced commercial IP/IT solicitor looking for a change of focus or indeed an existing professional support lawyer.  You will have a strong technical background in IP/IT with wide ranging transactional experience and particularly enjoy the black letter side of law.

This firm has one of the largest PSL support functions globally and the right culture to develop your career in a non-fee earning role. The PSL function is geared to support the high end work conducted by the commercial IP and Technology lawyers. As a professional support lawyer, you will be engaged in a nice mix of area working on specific projects/initiatives, producing precedents, know how guidance, manuals for internal use, and being responsible for external facing know how products for the purposes of profile raising/engagement with clients. The role also has a strong emphasis on marketing and client development, allowing an experienced commercial lawyer to utilise knowledge in these areas to aid the development and support the function of the lawyers in the team.
