The 2 roles available are:
Residential Conveyancer 1 - needs to be available within 2-3 weeks. This will be a role which will last at least 2 months.
Residential Conveyancer 2 - needs to be available to cover a 2-3 week holiday period starting from the 21st August.
The client is a well known house building brand who are going through significant change at the moment and eager to move quickly and get 2 experienced Residential Conveyancers in to support.
You will be expected to carry out all legal formalities associated with plot sales, part exchange acquisitions and disposals, including pre and post completion legal administration, and management of the transaction from inception to archiving the completed matter.
The conveyancer will be required to deal with the resale of second hand properties, particularly for completions forecast for August. Replying to enquiries and overcoming anything that may not be available on the plot file to pass over to the resale buyers solicitors. They will need to be self motivated and have experience of selling second hand properties not just new build.
Th candidate would ideally have:
- A good understanding of planning, building regulations and legal obligations
- At least 2 years experience of residential conveyancing
- Ability to be hands on an support the legal director
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
