Our client, a Local Authority based in South Yorkshire is currently seeking a hard-working Planning Lawyer to join their team.
The role is for an initial three month period with the likelihood of an extension.
The role will include but will not be limited to the following duties:
- Negotiating and drafting complex agreements
- S106 agreements
- S278 agreements
- Representing the council at Committee
- Advising on CPO matters and
- Assisting with regeneration projects
You will be expected to hit the ground running from the outset and work well under pressure. Due to the nature and focus of the team, the ideal candidate will be forward thinking, conscientious and a team player.
It is therefore essential that you can work autonomously as you will be required to carry a full caseload with minimum supervision.
