Our client is a boutique practice located close to Bradford, serving a broad range of clients across the county and further afield. THE ROLE
We are now tasked with sourcing a talented Crime Duty Solicitor to join our clients’ thriving practice in the Bradford area. Becoming part of an expanding, specialist team; the successful Duty Solicitor will handle a full and varied caseload which will incorporate attending, advising and representing clients from arrest to trial as necessary. Attending detained clients out of hours forms an essential part of the position. The ideal Solicitor will also prepare cases for trial and advocate at hearings where appropriate. Additional involvement in business development activities is desirable.

THE CANDIDATE
You must be a qualified Solicitor with at least 12 months’ PQE gained within a reputable Criminal department.
Duty Status is essential for the position along with the ability to assign your slots in time for the next rota.
You must have excellent technical and client care skills.
You will be able to attend clients at police stations and courts throughout the area on a rota basis, to include out of hours work.
You will be personable, driven and committed to furthering your career in this area.
