THE ROLE
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Corporate Tax Solicitor to join our clients’ expert team. Working closely with senior members of the department which includes a number of partners; the successful Solicitor will liaise with other teams, advising on all taxation aspects of transactions, both domestic and international. Focusing on mitigating liabilities and maximising allowances, the ideal Solicitor will ensure all corporate and real estate tax matters are fully compliant with relevant legislation/regulation.
A hands-on position in a specialist team, suited to a dedicated Solicitor and offering excellent career progression prospects, a competitive salary and benefits to include: season ticket loan; pension; health insurance and; subsidised gym membership. THE CANDIDATE
You must be a qualified Solicitor from NQ – 2 years’ PQE with at least six months’ solid experience gained within a top Corporate/Tax department.
You must have excellent technical and organisational skills.
Strong academics with at least a 2:1 at degree level are essential for the position.
You will be a team player with first class client care and communication skills across all levels.
Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of numeracy are pre-requisite.
You will have expertise encompassing all aspects of corporate and real estate taxation and mitigation.
An aptitude for business development is desirable.
You will be driven, dedicated and seeking to further your career in a leading team.
