PI Paralegal (Trauma Team)

We are recruiting on behalf of a Pontefract based law firm for a paralegal to join their Personal Injury (trauma) team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful law firm in an interesting and varied role.

Responsibilities will include;

- Attendance on clients and others in order to take statements, obtain information, make appointments and complete relevant forms.

- Liaising between clients and experts.

- Dealing with client queries.

- Preparing standard legal documents.

- Fixing dates for Court hearings and liaising with Counsel and Court.

- Arranging conferences with Counsel.

- Preparation of bills and/or liaising with costs draftsmen.

- Reviewing and archiving files.

- Other duties such as researching law, searching old files, obtaining documents, transporting clients and supporting fee earners as and when required.

- Working on RTA, EL & PL Portal cases.

You will be an organised and enthusiastic individual with experience of working within a Personal Injury claims environment.
