Legal Counsel

Due to company growth, an exciting opportunity has become available for a Legal Counsel to join a leading global healthcare and consumer company, based in their office in Essex. This is a permanent position reporting into the Head of Legal and Compliance.

You will serve as key point of contact for providing legal advice to all areas of the company on contractual and commercial issues.

You will be responsible for negotiating, reviewing and drafting contracts such as, hospital contracts, framework agreements, procurement, consumer contracts and sales and distribution agreements. You will be in charge of dealing with all legal projects and taking part in contract negotiations with third parties.

You will be a UK or commonwealth qualified solicitor with 5-6 years PQE*. Due to the workload involved you will need a strong in depth knowledge and understanding of contract law. Although not essential, having experience with medical products and trade law would be advantageous.
