Residential Conveyancing Lawyer with supervisory experience sought for senior position in Warwickshire

THE ROLE
We are now actively seeking a Senior Residential Conveyancing Lawyer for a busy CQS accredited team in the Leamington Spa area. Reporting to the Head of Department, the successful Lawyer will use their skills and expertise to successfully manage and supervise other fee earners whilst running freehold and leasehold residential transactions from instruction to post completion. Areas will include: remortgages; shared ownership; sales and purchases; transfers of equity; right to buy and; new plot purchases. Sound knowledge of AML legislation and the CQS protocol will therefore be essential.
It is envisaged that this role will also require the successful Lawyer to undertake occasional travel to some of the practices other offices. Keen to play an active role in the continued success of the department and practice as a whole, the successful Solicitor or Legal Executive will generate new business, building and maintaining client relationships and actively promoting themselves and the firm. THE CANDIDATE
You must be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 5 years’ PQE;
You will be technically competent with solid experience in a wide range of residential conveyancing;
You shall possess previous experience supervising other fee earners;
You will be IT Literate with knowledge of case management system highly advantageous;
You will be highly organised, able to meet tight deadlines;
You will be a pro-active team player with strong business development skills.
