This is a rare chance to work for one of the UK's largest independent investors who have raised and deployed billions of pounds to a range of exciting sectors, including clean energy and infrastructure. Based in Central London, our client is involved in a wide selection of projects, including solar, onshore wind, waste to energy and hydroelectric power. The legal team currently comprises two excellent City trained lawyers and as the business continues to grow, the need has arisen for a new lawyer with circa 1-3 years' PQE to join the team.

The Role:

You will provide legal support to the infrastructure business, assisting with all aspects of the clean energy/infrastructure matters, such as:

* advising on the establishment of clean energy/infrastructure projects at all levels (equity, finance and subcontract chain (including EPC and O&M agreements);

* advising on the sale and / or acquisition of clean energy/infrastructure projects;

* advising on product development, fund structuring and establishment of infrastructure funds, particularly in the clean energy/infrastructure sector;

* advising on other corporate, commercial and finance transactions within the clean energy and infrastructure sectors; and

* advising on the financing of clean energy/infrastructure projects, including acquisition finance, construction finance and project finance.

Role Requirements:

* Strong academics with a minimum of a 2:1 from a top university;

* Qualified lawyer with 1-3 years post qualification experience gained in a corporate team;

* Candidates who have worked for energy related clients with experience of corporate transactions, investment funds and/or construction law will be considered;

* The ability to work both independently and as part of a team; and

* Strong drafting, negotiation, communication and presentation skills are essential.
