Residential Conveyancer

Are you a highly skilled Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner with excellent and full-rounded technical skills? Are you looking for a new opportunity in the North East that would combine fee earning, team leading and team development? Our client is looking for a strong fee earner and is open minded to the level of qualification. The firm are happy to receive applications from Licensed Conveyancers, Chartered Legal Executives or non-qualified technical residential conveyancing fee earners for this Technical advisor role within our client's award winning conveyancing department.

The Role
-You will be the Technical Advisor to the department. This will therefore be a really varied opportunity and you will be required to complete risk assessments and manage compliance matters for the department.
-In addition, part of your role will be managing a minimal residential conveyancing caseload of more complex matters (approximately 10-15 files per month).
-You will also be responsible for the further development of the conveyancing department and be required to manage and organise the training of the team, leading to the overall development of the team.

The Candidate
-It is vital for this role that you have an excellent technical residential conveyancing background and are confident in all technical matters such as title checking, conducting reports on title and raising enquiries just to name a few.
-Ideally you will be a qualified Chartered Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer. However those working towards qualification will be happily considered.
-The ideal candidate will have some supervisory experience and be confident managing a team of fee earners with various levels of experience.
