Civil Litigation Solicitor

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Civil Litigation Locum to join a Local Authority in the Home Counties. The contract is expected to last at least 6 months with a high possibility of extension.

Applications are welcome from Qualified Solicitors, Barristers, Legal Executives and non-qualified Lawyers who have the relevant experience working within a Local Government organisation.

Duties and responsibilities will include a mixture of Civil Litigation matters for the Local Authority. The successful candidate will have substantial experience, ideally working for local authorities. They will need to take on a caseload of complex civil litigation matters including judicial review. Experience of prosecutions and/or employment would be a bonus but the emphasis is very much on the civil side for this position.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy but friendly team and offers an attractively hourly rate of £30 - £35 per hour depending on experience.
