EU/Competition Lawyer 2+ TO £85,000,
This international City firm are seeking an ambitious competition lawyer to compliment their 12 lawyer strong EU & Competition team, based in London. The highly-rated team is involved in an interesting variety of competition work with high-profile cases and clients. Work include mergers & acquisitions and joint ventures, investigations and dawn raids, market studies and market investigation references and litigation. The team's principal areas of expertise are:

· EU & UK merger control;

· Anti-competitive agreements including cartels;

· Abuse of a dominant position;

· Market studies and market investigations;

· Competition litigation;

· Competition compliance and training;

· Advising on EU law; and

· State aids.

Applicants must have experience in the fields of merger control, anti-competitive agreements especially cartels, abuse of a dominant position and preferably market studies and investigations. Experience of the financial services, life sciences/pharma, health and energy sectors would be of interest. Any state aid work advantageous.
